ape kamu buat sekarang?

Many people ask me this same question over and over again. penat den nk jawab. so, THESE are what I do ever since I am back to work :)
I can say that I am happy with what I am doing now though the reality of workload has increased from time to time compared to before I did my Master degree.
I started taking prac class every friday morning from 9-12pm. It may sound easy or small thing, but the effort we put to prepare for the class is so huge that can take a week to settle and ready with the materials required not to mention some new information has to be injected as well... I am grateful to Allah that I have great people working at bacteriology lab who are willing to help and offer wonderful co-operation! Alhamdulillah!!!
I too involved in small research myself just to make myself pre-occupied with things. Time is money (gold actually, hehe) and so does knowledge and experiences. Grab any chances while you still can. You don't have to make a big leap to win a race, start with a small step then it will guide you to the wide, beautiful future, inshaAllah :D slow and steady win the race :)
PhD is next in line but I Don't wanna talk about it yet. Let time and scholarships decide. hehee
Comprehensive exams for the final year students is just around the corner. Jia you to them all!! Hope you guys ace in this exam! susah wohhh....baca buku sungguh2, kena pandai relate all from pre-clin to para-clin to clinical stuffs ;) not an easy job, aye? whether you are ready or not, the xm is next week!wuhoo!!! berusahalah sampai ke saat akhir..i went through it before and i know how it feels...argh, crazy!!
sebenarnye nk cerita, I am responsible to escort the external assessors from beginning till they leave the fac. oh, berdebar2..hehee. kne bwk pi jejln plak tu. nk bwk blh, inshaAllah tp I bukannye tahu jln2 nih..hohoho...tolong!!!
Ni lagi satu, kne siapkan thesis corrections. Penting sgt2 tu. kalau tk, tk grad saya ni haa..nauzubillah..
Alhamdulillah minor corrections je and my supervisor yg garang tu pun nk tlg, fuhhh... If not, tk tau cheq nk buat lagu mana..huuuu..ok. jom berusaha sama2!
To be honest, rindu nk jumpe mak. masuk bulan ni, dah 2 bln tk blk ipoh, tk jumpe family :( aduihhhh...not till nxt month nmpknye..semangat mesti kental!!
Tu je nk kongsi ;)
Wassalam.

world book day? hari buku sedunia?

It's funny to have a world book day because i never realize there's such an annual event..each year, we celebrate it on 23rd April.. I thought we should read books everyday?! well, few pages of book(s) a day is considered fine with me :P ok, maybe considered fine isn't appropriate here, haha.. i hope i didn't sound like cynical/skeptical/pessimist or anything you can call a negative expression,to be honest, i do love the idea and i think it's good to have this kind of occasion. At least people will be motivated/ inspired to get a book for that special day and read it seeing everybody around you holding a book ;)
Currently, I am reading 2 books (depending on my mood which one to read)-The lovely bones by Alice Sebold, and Khadijah RA dan Aisyah RA: inspirasi cinta di balik peribadi Rasulullah by Eman Sulaiman.
Can't wait to get home and read them all!! haha..now, gambate!!!! work work work!!!

Her Journey to Islam

Date: 25th Jan 2011
Venue: Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam, Bukit Kiara
Time: 2030-2200
Speaker: Lauren Booth

She is a very well-known person for being one of the great supporters for the Palestinian after covering the story at the Strip of Gaza and also Israel..It's amazing listening to her experience on how she eventually embrace Islam.

But what I wanted to share with you are these particular sentences (roughly) she said during the talk.

Muslim women with hijaab are a brand. So make it a great brand! Instead of dull and depressed, never smiled to others; do appear neat, tidy, clean and cheerful, full of vibrant no matter how bad your days are! Not to forget, watch your thoughts and speech as well, as we are always being looked upon at every aspect of life..

Waallahualam..

Memories

May Allah bless you always..
I continue what you did before, Abah. I never realised that I would feel happy helping the kids with their Quran recitation and memorized a number of surah. Alhamdulillah :)  To me, by assisting them, I am actually helping myself at the same time.
Hope I can be like you, Abah. You had the patience in handling the kids..

...........................

While I was my way back, I passed by this one house who has a variety of roses. It caught my attention because they have this beautiful pink and yellow roses next to each other. Reminds me of the pink roses Abah planted years ago and currently taken care by my Mother. It's the symbol of their love :') And every time it blooms, Mom and I would always feel his warm love filled the air as if he's there...

Eid al-Adha 1431H

It has been a great day today, alhamdulillah. This year I celebrated Eid al-Adha in NZ. I am loving every moment of it :) Well, most of it because of the warm welcoming of invitation by invitation from house to house :D but the important part that should not be forgotten is building rapport with the community here..Btw, it's Wednesday today, so work has to be completed before I can enjoy myself in the evening :P The most memorable occasion on this date I could say was my last raya visit to Kak D's house. Not only on Eid but every time I visited Kak D and Abg Musli, we always had a brilliant, critically thinking topics to discuss. And there's no exception for today too. What enlightened the discussion today was the presence of Abg Mat Zamri and Kak Laila. We threw some enquiries that have been wondering in our minds to Ustaz Zamri regarding our beloved Prophet S.A.W. life and his wife Aisyah, about the Quran authenticity, the different in mazhabs etc. The way Ust Zamri answers to all the questions prepared us on how to tackle these sort of issues when asked by curious people out there. :) Thank you Allah for having set this chance for us to sit down and discuss them all.

Abdullah bin Abbas r.a berkata: Pada suatu hari saya berada di belakang Rasulullah S.A.W. lalu Baginda bersabda:
